Welcome to our Deichblick vacation rental!
Immerse yourself in a world of peace and relaxation —our cozy apartment awaits you in the idyllic setting of Friedrich-Augustengroden in Javenloch, which was diked in 1765, right on the dike with a breathtaking view of the island of Wangerooge. Away from the Harlesiel-Horumersiel/Schillig beach route, you can experience unspoiled nature here and leave the stresses of everyday life behind.
Our 29 m² separate apartment in the main building of a lovingly renovated country house offers everything you need for a relaxing stay.
On the first floor, you’ll find the inviting living area with a cozy kitchenette that’s perfectly equipped for preparing your own meals. Here you can spend evenings together with family or friends, while the sofa and dining table provide a cozy setting for socializing. Two windows let in plenty of natural light, and one of them offers a wonderful view of the dike, which makes the whole atmosphere even more special.
The bright, inviting bathroom on the first floor is generously sized and offers plenty of space to freshen up. Here, you can start or end your day in peace.
A wooden staircase leads to the sleeping loft in the attic. With a 90-cm and a 140-cm-wide bed, it offers plenty of space for restful nights. A closet and small pieces of furniture create a cozy atmosphere.
The loft is flooded with light from skylights on the east and west sides, allowing you to enjoy plenty of natural light throughout the day—and perhaps even witness the sunrise or sunset over the dikes.
Javenloch is a picturesque paradise for nature lovers and offers numerous opportunities to explore the beautiful North Sea surroundings. Right outside the door, you can take relaxing walks along the dikes or discover the Elisabeth-Außengroden Nature Reserve, which lies just 1.5 km north of Javenloch and extends seamlessly into the Wadden Sea. The beach at Harlesiel, just about 3–4 km away, invites you to spend relaxing days by the water, and the beach at Horumersiel/Schillig is also not far away. Explore the area on well-maintained bike paths and enjoy the unique tranquility and fresh air of the North Sea region.

Each premium linens package contains: 1 set of high-quality premium bedding, consisting of one pillowcase, one duvet cover, and one fitted sheet per bed, 1 large shower towel, 1 small hand towel, and, in addition, for each vacation rental (regardless of the number of linen packages booked), 1 shower mat (per bathroom), and 2 dish towels.
The municipal guest fee (visitor’s tax) is a public levy and is not included in the offer. The guest fee is assessed and calculated separately based on various factors that are not known to us at the time of booking. The amount of the guest tax is determined by the respective price schedule of the relevant municipality, as well as factors such as the season, length of stay, number and age of all travelers, and, if applicable, any severe disabilities and accompanying persons. After you make your booking, we will ask you for this information and can only then calculate the guest tax due.
We are happy to offer you optional additional services such as linen packages, “Check-in from 1:00 p.m. instead of 4:00 p.m.” or “Check-out by 12:00 p.m. instead of 10:00 a.m.,” and many other services:
