This 2-bedroom cabin is perfect for your escape to Evening Shade. Nestled in a charming setting, this superb property offers a tranquil retreat for guests. With 3 queen beds in the cozy bedrooms and a pull out sofa, you and your family/friends will have a restful night's sleep. The bathroom features a refreshing shower, shower essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, and body soap, as well as plush towels and a hair dryer for your convenience. In the living room space, there's even a sofa bed for extra comfort. You'll find everything you need here, from fresh ground locally roasted coffee to a relaxing hot tub. We are conveniently located 4 miles from the Evening Shade Square, 4.5 miles from the Cherry Farm Event Barn in Poughkeepsie, 14 miles from Cave City, 17 miles from Ash Flat, and 28 miles from Hardy. We think our place will help you experience everything Evening Shade has to offer as we are located near Flat Creek and many Strawberry River access points like the Strawberry River bridge, Sims Town, and Molly Barnes. Fishing and floating are popular activities at the Strawberry River. You will be a 5 min walk to the river. Swim, float, fish, hike or just relax! Come check it out for yourself!

Absolutely great place to stay! The view is great! It’s secluded and beautiful! We saw a momma deer and her two babies, got to watch the dog set in, the hot tub was great! The cabin is so cute! Great communication with the owner for anything we needed! So cozy and personalized! We will be back!

This place is fantastically remote and private. The pictures do a pretty great job showing this place, but to see it in person is even better! Looking to get away from it all? This is your place.Be sure to have the directions and the full address before you go. You cannot rely on a pin drop on a map to get you there (you'll incorrectly drive down a long, rock road for nothing). If you get into the area without fully knowing exactly how to get there, you may not have cell phone reception, and you'll have to drive away to get a signal to get it sorted out with the owner, Wyndi.On the plus side, yes, it is that remote that you have no cell service. However, the cabin has excellent WiFi.This place is a real gem. Wyndi was great to work with and she provided all kinds of snacks, from prepackaged to fresh items. If you're a coffee snob, bring some good coffee for the drip coffee maker. There was some Maxwell House there when we visited.
