About this lodge
The Shanty is right on your very own shaded, sandy beach on the beautiful Eleven Point River- great for fishing, swimming, boating, & floating! This is a very secluded & peaceful cabin in the country. Rope swings & amazing views from the deck or hammock. Cabin sleeps 8 comfortably.

We booked this place because of the location right on the river. We had 5 adults and our fur babies. It was a cute little cabin! It took us a little bit to figure out how to get the oven to work, but otherwise we had an awesome time.

This little cabin is on the best little beach. You can't beat the location. The rope swing was awesome. Our boys were swinging constantly. I would recommend bringing some blister tape, to wrap their hands and prevent blisters. My only real complaints would be that the cabin was in real need of a deep clean and the neighborhood dogs were a little concerning, but overall you can't beat the river. . .

I LOVE rivers and this property is stunning! I loved every second of it and enjoyed playing in the river, watching it, listening to it.. everything! The cabin is very cute and hostesses are very accommodating!! Highly recommend.

This place was awesome. Right next to the river and able to walk down the river with ease. Kids loved it as well.
