Charming Home with Pool Just Steps From Santa Lucia Park

This property was everything that it said it was in the advertisement plus more. We thoroughly enjoyed our three weeks day and would certainly recommend it to anybody wishing to stay in Centro. The location was perfect as we were able to walk to all the main squares. There were small shops close by and the very large market was within walking distance for us as well. I can’t say enough about how we enjoyed the property. The plunge pool was magnificent. Everything in the kitchen was well supplied. We had weekly made service, which was excellent. communications with the landlord was extremely good. We use WhatsApp, which was the most efficient way to communicate with anybody. The upper deck we use in the evening and even barbecued. We would certainly recommend this property to anybody wanting an enjoyable experience. We are a couple from Canada aged 70 and 80 years old.

We had an excellent stay at Stephen’s property. Adrian, our host, was very responsive and took care of everything promptly during our visit. The home is in a fantastic location in Centro, perfect for exploring Mérida on foot. We were just minutes from all the major attractions in Centro Mérida, with an abundance of great restaurants and bars within walking distance. We found the area to be very safe to walk in, both day and night. The house is beautifully laid out, with each bedroom having its own bathroom. There’s a large living room, dining room, and kitchen, plus a lovely outdoor sitting area by the pool. We especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace with its BBQ, table, chairs, and sun loungers — the perfect place to relax every afternoon. Overall, this is a fantastic home that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Mérida. We’ve already booked our vacation for next year with Stephen and host Adrian! This is a lovely, even jaw dropping gorgeous, house located in the heart beat of beautiful Merida. You couldn't be any closer to great restaurants, charming shops and nightlife. You can hear the beating of Merida's nighttime heartbeat but it is not bothersome, climb to the lovely rooftop patio and embrace the night.....or better yet go out and enjoy it.The bedrooms and bathrooms are well stocked with quality linens, lots of hot water and toilets that accept flushing the T.P.The kitchen boasts a filtered drinking water tap, full sized appliances, good quality dishes and cookware. The pool is unheated but we swam everyday. The rooftop deck is lovely but safety for children may be an issue, as the steps are steep and railings are open.We can say honestly that the home far exceeded our expectations, as did the neighborhood. Our host was only a text message away for any inquiries but left us to our privacy.
