About this apartment rental
Situated on the east end of the island, our beachfront condominium is near the intersection of the seawall and the main entrance to the island. Enjoy easy access to the Seawall and historical district’s parks, shopping, museums, trendy cafes, and cultural hotspots, making your stay as comfortable and customizable as you desire. There are no meters or other hassles of street parking here as parking is in a designated lot on the north side of the building, with other overflow parking available if needed. The open-concept living room is flooded with natural light, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. With the relaxing view of the beach, it's the perfect space to unwind! Leave your cares, pool towels, and other amenities behind. Our kitchen comes fully stocked with dishes and appliances. A generous amount of pool towels are provided and can be exchanged at the front desk as often as needed to enjoy the on-site heated pool and hot tub. Other onsite amenities for your enjoyment include tennis and pickle ball courts, shuffleboard, horseshoes, picnic grills, and hammocks. Our management team is committed to ensuring your living experience is smooth, enjoyable, and sure to produce fond memories. We had not been to the Galvestonian, simply because of life reasons, for almost 20 years. We love it now just as much, if not more, as we did back then. We were able to come with our son — now 27 years old, with whom we traveled her almost annually when he was younger — and enjoy this beautiful unit. We love the cleanliness, the friendliness and attention from the great staff, and the serenity here. The pool and hot tub area, the picnic area, the amenities in general are wonderful. We have vowed we will not wait another 20 years to return. Wonderful! Thank you!

We always choose to stay at The Galvestonian due to the easy access to the beach, the pool and the ocean views from every room. Over the years, though, it has lost its resort feel. Our room was provided one trash bag and when I called the front desk, they asked that I come downstairs to retrieve more. The kitchen needs to be restocked. There was no can opener and the skillets were not usable, as the Teflon was flaking off. I also called before I left my home to see if there was a washer/dryer in the unit. The front desk told me they were not sure and made no effort to check. None of these are a big deal individually, but when I am on vacation, I don't want to deal with things like this. Overall, it is still one of the best places to stay in Galveston, it just needs a little TLC. I was happy that coffee was back in the lobby in the morning!
