About this cabin rental
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. My Mystic Mountain is all about the great outdoors and long range views! Two decks with fantastic views - one with fireplace, flat screen TV, and gas grill, one off the upstairs loft suite with fireplace, hot tub, and custom louvers for privacy, and one living room fireplace (all are gas/push-button controlled). Take in the gorgeous view while you soak, then warm up by the fire.
Pet friendly with permission; please ask about your pet. Please also feel free to ask about longer or shorter stays.
The space
When you first step into this modern, rustic home, you will feel peace and be swept away by the gorgeous long range mountain views!
This well stocked kitchen makes meal time a breeze. We have thought of everything so you don't have to. We even supply the coffee and condiments.
The living room has a comfy sofa and recliner and a huge gas fireplace complete with large screen TV. Each bedroom is fitted with a comfortable king size bed and large flat screen TVs.
The downstairs bathroom features a large walk-in shower for you to enjoy and upstairs has a traditional tub shower combo.
Guest access
This is a whole house rental; every room and deck is there for you to enjoy. There is a gas grill on the deck you are welcome to use. It is located in a neighborhood, but adjacent to national forest, so the house feels very private.
Other things to note
The house is located just minutes away from the Nanatahala National Forest with plenty of room for hiking, biking, and enjoying mountain life to the fullest. Just a little further is a lake for fishing and kayaking all for your enjoyment.
The house is in Hideaway Hills, a gated community, back off the beaten path and 20 minutes away from town. It is a combination of a paved and gravel road but does not require a 4 wheel drive to access it. There is plenty of off road parking as well.
Day trips to Helen, GA, Ashville or Cherokee, NC or even Tennessee are easy drives and make this the best location for exploring all the Tri State area has to offer.

Absolutely stunning views of the mountains! Clean, new, lots of special touches to make the stay feel like home! Plenty of outdoor activities within about 30 minute drive. LOVED it!

We had an incredible experience in Murphy, North Carolina. The view from our cabin was breathtaking right from the moment we woke up. It felt like we were gazing into the vast unknown, and it was absolutely wonderful. The peacefulness enveloped us as soon as we arrived, making us feel completely at ease. This vacation rental felt just like home, with every little detail thoughtfully arranged and the supplies provided by our host. The cleanliness was outstanding, and the attention to detail from the cleaner was impressive, with charming designs on the toiletries and in the kitchen. There was nothing about this cabin that disappointed us; in fact, it was truly exceptional. The neighborhood was equally delightful, with friendly neighbors who welcomed us warmly and were eager to assist with anything we needed. The hot tub was a perfect addition, creating a lovely atmosphere for our mountain getaway. Being able to bring our dog along made our stay in Murphy even more special. We also enjoyed a trip to the Nantahala Adventure Center, where we watched kayakers braving the chilly waters and had a great time dining at a local restaurant.
