Camp Havon - is a wonderful home on picturesque Goodyear Lake! The private, flat, and grassy waterfront is a rare find, not often the case with waterfront homes in this area. Enjoy all the water fun, swimming, fishing, and or boating. You can bring your boat or rent a kayak from the shop on the lake. When you're not indulging in water activities you can enjoy the wonderful views of Goodyear Lake from the firepit on the patio by the house or one of the many levels of decks overlooking the water.
The interior takes full advantage of the waterfront views with floor-to-ceiling windows letting in an amazing amount of wonderful natural light in the main area! The living room is an easy place to gather whether you are enjoying a good book or watching the huge Smart TV. If you rent in the cooler off-season months snuggle up by the gas woodstove. The main floor has a full bathroom just off the entry with a shower and washer/dryer. On the main floor, there is the dining room overlooking the water with seating for 8, leading into the fully equipped kitchen where you will find everything you need to prepare a meal for your crew. Don't feel like cooking? Cooperstown is just a short drive away or head south to Oneonta for even more dining options. If you are attending the youth baseball tournaments in the summer this home is centrally located between the two parks, coming back to the lake is a nice break from all the baseball! Enjoy a nice BBQ on the deck with seating and a gas grill overlooking the lake.
The second floor of this home has 3 bedrooms and a large full bathroom in the hallway. The master bedroom has a private balcony with amazing views of Goodyear Lake, a great way to wake up in the morning, and perhaps enjoy morning coffee or an evening cocktail here. There are large smart TVs in all the bedrooms so you will never miss a show or a game! Camp Havon is your home away from home, it's time to sit back and relax on the water. Camp Havon is available for rent all year long ~ Summer bookings align with the youth baseball tournament schedule.
NOTE - The property manager lives in the lower level apartment, he has a private entrance and you will not know he is there unless you need something. The property is yours alone to use!

We had a great time staying at Camp Havon for Cooperstown. Very relaxing and beautiful views. The beds are comfortable. The kids loved the bunk beds. Starbucks and McDonald and Price choppers are a short drive away. We saw deer almost every day. Including a baby Bambi deer. We also saw a family of baby raccoons on the drive to the house. The forest along the drive to the property is beautiful.

We loved the view, the outdoor dining/seating options, and the individual climate per bedroom. The downstairs bath was great, too. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and food prep. Hope to return next year for another graduation.

Very well maintained & nicely appointed property. Cozy Lake house with wonderful views of the lake from living & dining areas. We stayed mid April so not able to enjoy the lake activities that were available. 4. Property owner was very accessible & helpful.

My fiancé and I needed a place to stay to go see a wedding venue and found this beautiful house to stay. The house has a rustic feel to it with a stunning view of the lake. Julie, the owner, made sure to text us the day of our check in to let us know that she was available for anything we needed. Our stay was nothing but relaxing and lovely.
