About this house rental
Our holiday home (classified "Meublé de Tourisme 4 stars") "Le Four du Chemin des Bois" is an old farmhouse completely restored. It is located at the entrance of the small peaceful hamlet of Gaudiès, which overlooks the gorges of the Aveyron (5 kms from La Bastide l'Evêque and
9 kms from Villefranche-de-Rouergue).
This 95 m² character house? is composed as follows:
- in the basement a cellar with washing machine, dryer and wood for the fireplace
- on the first floor a large living room with a fully equipped kitchen separated from the living and dining areas by a fireplace with double-sided insert, a corner/entrance with cupboard and WC
- upstairs: 3 semi-attic bedrooms (the first with its private bathroom and a 160 cm bed, the second with a bed (140) and access to the balcony and the third with two beds (90) + a bathroom with a large Italian shower with jets, a washbasin and a toilet.
The house is heated by electric radiators with dry inertia, reversible air conditioning and a fireplace for which we offer wood.
Regarding electricity consumption: the meter is read on arrival and departure and consumption exceeding a daily flat rate of 15 kWh included in the rent will be added to the rate of €0.20 per unit.
Outside: a courtyard not overlooked with the old bread oven used as a barbecue, a plancha and garden furniture
The private grass land of 1,000 m² is completely enclosed (closed by electric gate).
We have set up a shelter for two cars and a small petanque court.
A swing set is available for children as well as table football above the bread oven.
In the chalet is the spa: this service is optional (€50 per stay and we specify that we renew the water for each new tenant)
You will be able to take advantage of the calm and comfort of the place to rest, make many visits to our region with its very rich and varied heritage, go on beautiful hikes on site, but also discover our typical markets and our gastronomy... a great holiday in perspective!
