We purchased the Grünten vacation home in 2012 and subsequently renovated it extensively and refurnished it
. Since we ourselves vacation at the house several times a year, we’ve furnished it exactly as we would want it to be if we were looking to spend a truly wonderful vacation in the beautiful Allgäu region. We hope you’ll enjoy your stay with us as well.PGJyLz4PGJyLz4The house offers 55 square meters of living space, plus a basement and terrace, and is situated on a 600-square-meter lot nestled in the vacation village of Weissensee. In the living room, a sofa with a recamier provides a comfortable spot to relax in front of the TV in the evenings or simply gaze out the panoramic window, enjoy the tranquility, and watch the squirrels (and, with a little luck, even a deer or a fox from time to time). Internet is available (Wi-Fi and internet-enabled TV). In the living room, you’ll also find a dining area, which we’ve designed as an open counter with 4 cozy swivel stools that are height-adjustable.

Outside on the new patio, you can relax in the sun or, if needed, extend the awning if you prefer a shadier spot.

The kitchen features a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a stove, an oven, and a dishwasher. Of course, you’ll find dishes, silverware, glasses, and all kitchen utensils—and everything is in a matching style.

The house has two bedrooms. In the master bedroom, you’ll find a double bed, and in the children’s room, two single beds with an extra bed (a pull-out bed drawer with a 12-cm-thick mattress). This means three children could also sleep here if they squeeze up a bit.

The bathroom area consists of two separate rooms: a toilet and a bathroom with a tub-shower combination.


In the basement, there’s an additional seating area with a stereo system and a foosball table. Here, the kids can have some “down time” on their own. Patio furniture (2 lounge chairs, a table, 5 chairs, and a grill) is available in the basement. You’ll find a washing machine and a dryer there. We also provide two 27-speed touring bikes and two sleds.

With 28 vacation homes, the Füssen-Weissensee vacation village is one of the smallest vacation complexes in Germany. The resort offers two types of vacation homes with living areas of 50 m² and 85 m², respectively; each vacation home is individually furnished. 
Standard amenities in all vacation homes include:



• a kitchen with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and coffee maker

• a living room with satellite or cable TV, as well as a radio or stereo system

• a furnished patio

• Garage or parking space at the vacation home

• Sleds in winter

• Travel crib and high chair


Our services begin even before your arrival. We offer a grocery shopping service upon request. You’re also welcome to contact us before your arrival to find out when early check-in is possible. That way, you can check into your booked vacation rental as early as the morning.



Check-in is available from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00, and check-out is from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
