Bedroom #4 - "Where the Wild Things Are" Themed Room: full over full bunk with twin trundle with shared en-suite bathroom (shares bathroom w/ Night room above - on main level)
Bedroom #5: Marvel Themed Room: 2 sets of twin over twin bunks with twin trundles under each bunk (6 twin beds, in basement off the game room)
Bedroom #6: Paris Themed Suite: King bed and sofa, en-suite full bathroom, mini-fridge, k-cup coffee maker. The PERFECT room for the grandparents or young married couple, or whoever wants their own space to escape to, as this room is NOT connected to the main house. It is about 4-5 feet from the side door of the main house, under a covered walk. It is directly behind the garage, but no door connects the garage to the suite.
All linens/bath towels are provided. Beds will be made up prior to your arrival. We provide a decent supply of household goods. If you are staying more than a few days you might need to purchase more.
Norton Shores is just south of Muskegon and is a short 10 minute boat ride through the channel out to Lake Michigan!! Next to Mona Channel is also the beautiful Lake Harbor Park with huge sandy beach.

A security deposit **HOLD** of $1000 will be placed on the credit card you use to make the reservation 2 days prior to your reservation date. This is NOT a charge, just a HOLD. It will be released after we have had a chance to inspect the property as long as everything is in good shape. If there is accidental damage please let us know - we will not be upset and generally can use our accidental damage insurance to replace items. We like to know asap so we can make sure the house is in tip top shape for every guest.
Absolutely no parties! All guests must be 23+ with the exception of children with their parent/ guardian. 19 person max overnight in the house. Throwing a party or exceeding the maximum permitted occupancy (without express permission) will result in the loss of your deposit. You may also be asked to leave without refund.
POOL/ HOT TUB RULES: For the benefit of all guests, please rinse body and suit before entering the hot tub/ pool! (Lake water on suits will make the hot tub gross very quickly.) Children under 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Kids under the age of 5 should not be in hot tubs because of the temperature. Clothing is not optional - swimwear must be worn. No horseplay or inappropriate behavior, no glassware, no smoking, no diving. To keep hot tub/ pool clean, please use nearby hose to rinse sand and grass off before entering the hot tub or pool. No sand or any other substances in the hot tub or pool, i.e. no bubbles, oils, soaps, etc. Do not sit on the cover of hot tub. **Do not sit/ walk on the pool cover when it is on.** If either cover is broken you will be charged for a replacement cover - $600 for hot tub and whatever the cost at time of replacement for the custom pool cover, it is not cheap!
Absolutely NO smoking ANY substances in the house. Absolutely no fires, including candles. Unauthorized smoking or fires will be charged the full deposit hold amount plus damages and extra cleaning fees - including but not limited to smoke damage or odors.
We do not allow pets of any kind. You will be charged $500 plus extra cleaning fees if you bring a pet. This is for the benefit of all guests so that anyone with animal allergies can be confident they will be safe and comfortable staying in the house.
You will be required to sign a rental agreement and provide a copy of your ID after booking. It is the booking guest's responsibility to get all other guests to read and agree to follow the rules of the rental agreement.
*No refunds for weather/ natural disasters/ power outages/ noise/ other things that are beyond our control.* Therefore, it is **highly recommended that you purchase an inexpensive travel insurance policy!!** This gives you peace of mind in the event you have unforeseen circumstances that require you to cancel outside of the refund window on our cancellation policy. Please review, we have our policy set to "strict."
Notice of Cameras: There are 3 exterior security cameras, one at the driveway and a Ring doorbell at each of the front entry doors. They are motion-sensored and on 24/7 recording video and sound when triggered. Neither the house interior nor the exterior living spaces are visible to the cameras. Please do not interfere with the cameras, or you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund. They are there for your safety and the safety of the house.

Eight adults, nine kids, unlimited memories, PRICELESS! Excellent time, beautiful winter weekend gathering spot! Many amenities for the young and the mature. The house was very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated.

Facilities were great for a large family. We were 4 grandkids and two friends, our daughters and son in laws and Gloria and I in our 70s. Kitchen was our only glitch, utensils were slim, but it worked out. All had great times..Highly recommended.

The property was as advertised. Great location on Mona Lake. We rented a boat for several days, and the dock was terrific. Plenty of room in the house, bedrooms, rec room, and living room. Fantastic fire pit. Leslie, the host, was super responsive. The kitchen was well equipped.

The home is lovely and fit 6 adults and 2 children with room to spare! The photos are representative of the home and grounds. The kitchen is large and outfitted with just about every pan or small appliance you might need. The location is perfect - several grocery stores and pharmacies are within a couple of miles, so it’s not a major trek if you have to make a last minute grocery run. We will be back!
