Excellent clean house

Size of the apartment and the highest possible hospitality!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Anastasia's house. Upon arrival amongst scorching heat we were very happy to discover a bottle of cold water, a bottle of wine and some nice cold fruit in the fridge. The host was very kind, available when needed but also very discreet without intruding into our privacy. She kindly shared with us some very fresh and tasty produce from their garden. The house was impeccably clean, the kitchen was very well equipped with everything needed for preparing breakfast/a lunch at home (if you plan to do so please do your shopping in a supermarket in the city before coming to the house, as otherwise they are only expensive mini markets in the nearby beaches. Of course there are tavernas in the nearby beaches, the host gave us a couple of good suggestions there too). Additionally, the washing machine was very useful during our long stay. Air conditioning was also available, but in the night it was enough to have the windows open and the cool breeze was better than air-conditioning. Our kids had a lot of fun and were very well occupied and not bored between the wonderful garden with the piscine (very well maintained and clean), the excellent WiFi, and the free access to NETFLIX. The location is excellent if you seek a quiet spot to relax away from the beaten path, but only 5 minutes with the car from a wonderful sandy beach (Agios Georgios). Please note that you must have a car, both to reach the house and also to drive around and explore the area. We used to go for an early morning swim at the nearby beach, then retreat to the house to escape the midday sun and heat and have a simple lunch, and in the afternoon again take the car and explore beaches, castles, old villages all along the western and north coast of Corfu. Nothing, all was great. Please note that there are a lot of mosquitos in the area (like everywhere in Corfu), but this is not the fault of the hosts, it is expected when you are amongst green nature. The host has taken care and the house is well equipped with net screens in all doors and windows (and mosquito repellent tablets are available if needed), so there were no mosquitos inside the house.
