Hidden Retreat - Studio 4 minutes to the beach! Pet friendly!

Hidden retreat was very close to the railway station making it easy to access. It was also within walking distance to the beach and town. We went to the sealife adventure park on one of our days, which was around a half hour walk along the seafront, in each direction (definitely worth a visit) The studio apartment was well presented, nicely decorated and extremely clean, it also had a separate toilet and shower room (plenty of towels provided) Being a studio apartment it was quite well set out, but with the second double bed being a pull out sofa bed, the living and bedroom space was reduced a little (we found it suitable for one adult and two children, but more than three people, it could be a little cramped) On the day of our arrival, I was sent clear, easy to understand information on how to find and access the property (you do need to access a back alley, which I did not realise until the day, but being in the height of summer this was not a problem for us due to it not getting dark until later, however I would not really want to access this alley in the dark.) The free WiFi was great!

Soundproofing! The only thing that I can say that I didn't like...even though the people above us were not exceptionally noisy, we could hear them walking/running around and talking during the day, when we were in, although after 10pm, they were quiet but the washing machine above was very loud when on the spin cycle and you could hear taps/showers being run and toilets being flushed. The double sofa bed was a little difficult to open/close and a little uncomfortable if you prefer a more padded mattress, however I did sleep okay.

The hidden retreat is like your own lil apartment with all that you need. Very close to the station, beach and main centre.

In the hot weather it needed a fan, No fan supplied

Inside was compact, self contained and clean. Very close to beach and shops.

It was garden was smaller than the pictures looked. The outside garden area needs to be maintained to a higher standard. The sofa bed was not comfortable.
