Oudam Overnight Accomodation

The host was very nice and helpful. It was nice and clean and very peaceful. I wish we could stay a few more days but we had a plane to catch the next day.Airpirt 5 min away. Will definitely go back if I'm in Bloemfontein again.

Absolutely beautiful location! Love the style and decor! Very accommodating and caring owners!

No little shampoo/conditioner or body soap.

The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful surroundings and warm hospitality made the stay special. I especially appreciated the friendly conversation with Uncle Barries, which made me feel welcome and at home. It was a lovely place to rest during my journey.

I genuinely enjoyed my stay and have no major complaints. I would have loved to stay a little longer to enjoy the peaceful surroundings even more.

Clean and comfortable Pretty garden Host helpful over the phone Security good

Arrived and we were unable to drive in as the driveway was blocked by another car. The lady who opened the gate could not understand why we couldn't fit in but she eventually fetched the owner of the car to move it forward. Parking is small and access a little tricky for a longer vehicle such as a double cab bakkie. We never saw the host and were unclear on whether we could use the garden area. The room is small but adequate except for the "kitchen" - there is a good microwave and kettle, but any washing up / rinsing has to be done in the bathroom basin which we didn't like. I think the host should indicate on the advert that meals can be warmed but not prepared. This is important as they are far from shops. Alternatively, they could offer a meal onsite. The access roads are terribly potholed - no fault of the host who warned us when we phoned for directions. I would be reluctant to drive there after dark.
