The Koukaki Residence

We really enjoyed the location of this property. There were stores, eating places and bar close to this location.

Everything was great for our stay.

A really fun location, and we loved sitting in the back patio area with a nice bottle of wine!

A little difficultly getting key out of holder bc of a jam. It is easier to text via one # on a platform, which is easier on Airbnb

The apartment was much more spacious than I expected for the location. It was very clean and perfect for a 4 day stay. I was especially impressed with the size of the bedrooms— they were probably the largest bedrooms I have encountered while staying in European hotel/apartments on holiday. Plus the air conditioning units in each room worked very well— I was able to get the room chilly during late May. The space and price for the location was also great. It was about a 15 minute walk from the acropolis, and I was not expecting it to be that close! And everything I needed was on that same block— a cafe, bakery, liquor store, pharmacy, supermarket. Couldn’t beat the location. It felt quiet enough but still with some life. The host was also fantastic and extremely accommodating! I happened to hurt my back right before checkout and she graciously gave me more time to check out and even gave me advice on what to get from the pharmacy to help my back— very grateful for that as I am American and am not familiar with Greek pain medication. She was so kind and I would stay there again next time I’m in Athens just based on how nicely she treated me.

One critique I have is to put a bigger trash bin in the bathroom for toilet paper— it was a little small for two people.

George and the team are fantastic, super easy check-in at the last minute! Right in the thick of the coolest part of Athens. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in town.
