Fancy Apartment in the Heart of Athens

It is clean and spacious but it is the 4th floor which needs to use the left mostly but it is small capacity,3persons max and using the stairs needs extra cautions. The bathrooms ventilation needs to be checked and dust pans are needed when sweep the floor.

There was nothing available not even toilet paper. It would have been nice if there had just been a little of those initial items that one needs when first arriving, like some coffee, sugar, water and toilet paper.

Very large apartment with good layout. Well suited when you need 3 bedrooms – and with 3 bathrooms a lot of logistics is just easier. Clearly newly renovated, everything nice and new. Supermarket, coffee shop, baker etc. very close by.

Location is “local” good, but be sure to check if the distance to city center is ok. There are two metro stations, that both take 15min on foot to reach. As such the metro system is easy and it is short ride to the center. The third bedroom has the vents for the heat exchanger wall mounted on the outside, so we had to sleep with them turned off otherwise the low frequency rumble kept my daughter awake. The supplies in the apartment was skimpy. E.g. no tabs for the washing machine, no pods for the Nespresso – which I had a bit bad experience with. The Nespresso machine do not! Use the normal capsules available in the supermarket. So I bought some ground coffee instead – there is a normal filter machine also. However when I tried to use it I found the actual pot was missing. I wrote to the host which 1) informed me that the pods for the Nespresso machine only is available in the official Nespresso stores (there isn’t any nearby), but they promised to come with a new pot for the coffee machine. They never did. I recommend the “GOAT” coffee shop on the corner.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! My family didn’t know what the apartment looked like beforehand, and when they walked in for the first time, they were very positively surprised. The first impression was amazing – it looked just like the pictures. The apartment is very clean and equipped with everything you need to feel at home. It’s also in a great location. I can definitely recommend it and would absolutely book it again. Marina is very helpful and responds quickly if any issues come up.
