A small, cozy, yet fully equipped apartment situated in a peaceful location close to secluded nature trails and top attractions of Tuscany. There is a bathroom downstairs with a shower, and a bedroom with a dining and kitchen unit upstairs. The bed is spacious and very comfortable, there is a bath tub next to it. The kitchen unit is really small and you need to climb three stairs, but it's sufficient, especially if you want to explore the local cuisine outside :-). There is no designated parking space, but you can park your car at a nearby square (we stayed there for 5 nights in July and there was always some free space there). There is a shop quite close to the apartment. The owner is really nice and helpful. The house itself and the architecture of it are astounding - we were wondering what the history of the building was. Also, there is an air conditioning unit, a fan, and wooden shutters to help you deal with the heat outside. Don't forget to visit Vicopisano itself - it's a charming little town.
The fridge could be a bit bigger, especially if you want to fill it with local produce and cold drinks for the relentless summer heat. Apart from that, the only drawback was the length of our stay - we wished we could stay longer :-).

pulita, nuova, e silenziosa. L’host era parecchio disponibile e ha soddisfatto le nostre richieste. Le signore delle pulizie hanno fatto un ottimo lavoro. Letto comodo. Zanzariere presenti. Fornelli a induzione molto veloci. Bei muri.
Lo scarico del bagno funzionava male, non era possibile aprire la finestra sopra al lavandino e utilizzare l’acqua allo stesso tempo poichè la finestra sbatteva contro il rubinetto . Si è costretti a cucinare sul tavolo da pranzo poiché c’è solo il lavello e il piano cottura. Non si poteva usare la doccia ma solo il doccino. Le tendine (materiale simile alla carta) delle finestrelle sul tetto bisognava aprirle con due apposite aste appendiabiti poichè non automatiche , incastrandole in due buchetti e tirando, cosa molto complicata, soprattutto se si è più bassi del metro e settanta. Senza questa operazione la casa risultava piuttosto buia. Padelle graffiate, da cambiare. Presenza di formiche, non si poteva lasciare niente fuori dal frigo. Purtroppo devo dire che, per 933 euro per 13 notti, e per essere in una frazione di vicopisano (San Giovanni alla vena) , seppure in alta stagione, mi aspettavo che fosse tutto perfetto.
