Hello About our stay! Even though the property was in a comfortable setting, it was a horrifying experience for my daughter and me. We couldn't have prepared enough; it didn't matter how much we read the reviews. Hey, we wanted a place where we could bring the family during the off-peak seasons just to spend family time. I’m sure it would have been a different stay had we not been alone. We even thought the trees could have been highlighted, or that some landmarks could have been placed along the pathway. I had to call several times because I couldn't find the property

Maybe if we were told not to travel at NIGHT would have been helpful

Very clean, nice layout, nice deck, great central AC and washer/dryer, and the king bed was comfortable.

Our older kids were uncomfortable in the bunk beds, better for younger children. The road in and out was very rustic, dirt/grass/wood chips/ruts. Ok for our car, but some might like to know ahead of time, depending on what they drive. Could have used more toilet paper and tissues. Also, they had a salt delivery planned during our stay, which ultimately didn’t bother us, but the communication leading up to it was frustrating, with three different Vacasa staff involved.

Everything was great. Perfectly fit what we had in mind for a short stay on Martha's Vineyard. Was easy enough to locate using gps maps, made a few little goofs navigating the driveway through the woods that go to other properties, but no big deal. It was neatly hidden away in the quiet woods, complete with the occasional cute woodland creatures. It was clean and the layout is really neat. The kitchen was very useful and complete. The washing machine got the job done fine. The bathroom's a little small, but worked good. The shower water pressure is much stronger than I'd expected it would on the island. And the provided detergents/soaps were handy. It's interesting how few bugs there are in the area, as very few would gather around the porch light compared to places we're used to. And the night sky's very clear. Anyway, just a great spot we hope we could return to some day, if we're lucky. Thanks!

Really no dislikes to speak of.

It was very clean. The property is private with a yard surrounded by woods. We especially liked the paths around the woods to walk our dog unleashed. The property is situated close to hiking trails and the fishing town of Menemsha for fresh seafood. The bed was comfortable and the linens appeared to be new and of good quality. It was nice to have a grill. The cottage was stocked with basic pantry items… tea, rice , oils, spices, sugar, baking items. There was a nice selection of children's books, toys and games for young and old.

I was happy with the quality of the cookware, but a little disappointed with the amount of cookware since we were cooking in all of our meals. I made it work with what was there and all was well. A basting brush would be helpful for the grill. Although secluded, you can hear the traffic on North Rd.
