Lovely little lodge. Great location next to the river. The main bed is very comfortable and I had no complaints from my children about the bunk beds. Nice and clean throughout. Responsive host and biscuits on arrival were a nice touch.
Shower is nice with good water pressure.
As others have said the bathroom is a little tight with not much room in front of the toilet. However my 6ft 4 husband managed!

Wonderful location, had some lovely walks with our dog. Had a walk to the pub for Sunday lunch, was very nice. Comfy cabin, ideal for 2 people, best nights sleep In the bed. Would definitely stay again for a relaxing break away. Nice to have milk and fingers left in the kitchen too.
Can recommend the Indian in Corbridge too, very tasty.
Could do with some tlc, marks on bathroom door, blinds a little frayed, but that's just a little niggle, didn't effect our stay. No soap in bathroom, just minor little bits. Would of been nice to have a little nod to the time of year, with maybe a little Christmas decoration.

Absolutely beautiful location. Set back near the woods. Great for walks along the river.
The decor inside was gorgeous & had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning to this hidden gem.

It was in a great location and we had a lovely night. We walked along to the pub for a bottle of wine then came back and had some food and put the fire on. Ben was great super responsive and positive as a host.
Nothing at all

Nice, quiet and relaxing very cosy and clean. I really liked the unit we stayed in I would loved to of stayed longer as I actually got my feet up and even slept better. There are other villages quite close by so there are good shops and cafes. What really made it for us was the owner left some essential supplies like milk bread butter and tea bags so we relaxed right away with a cuppa.
The only little niggle I had was I am a large guy and the toilet was a bit of a tight squeeze for me but I did manage. There is a wall in front of the toilet with a radiator mounted on it and my knees where up against it. But it's not a problem as you don't spend a lot of time sitting on the toilet and the rest of the property is lovely.

Arrived to immaculate lodge. Everything we needed and more was made available. We had planned to meet up with friends who were staying in Corbridge, we were able to boom Uber to get us there and back. Lovely, peaceful location with equally lovely accomodation at affordable price. Ben was prompt to answer any queries we had. I highly reccomend a lovely stay, we will definately be back. Thanks again Ben.
Parking space bit tight, but we managed.

Situation, accommodation was just what we needed, lovely place to sit and enjoy the evening sunshine with a good walk on the doorstep along the river
I’m quite tall, 6ft, so a little more room in the bathroom and using the bunk bed would have been appreciated - a minor point and absolutely okay to work around

Clean, cosy, comfortable for our overnight stay after attending a wedding.
Everything fine, glad we went to find it before wedding as don’t think we would have found it in dark. We could see it but sat nav didn’t take us direct, however very friendly people directed us.

It was small but had everything you need.
Not the fault of the property but the area is very bad for mobile networks working.

Location and setting were very good.
Great for us for a short stay. Not sure it would suit a family or for a longer stay.

This was ideal for us as a stopover on a longer journey. Great value for money, clean, tidy and well equipped for our needs. Good communication with owner.
Parking was a bit tight, but adequate.

Very cosy and cute. Loved the log burner and extra touches with milk, biscuits etc. Lovely tranquil area, brilliant WiFi facilities, very comfy beds and everything you need. Wish we had been able to stay longer.
A little more attention to detail re dusting and cobwebs would be helpful. Also spent a lot of time getting flies out of the property. Although understand its winter and a rural location so it can be tricky.

Not a lot
We arrived during Storm Bert with temperatures of 4 degrees. Small electric heaters and no wood for wood burner. No wardrobes, no hanging space at all, not even a hook. Dresser drawers full of owners possessions so nowhere to put our own clothes. Filthy oven. Not been cleaned for a considerable time as baked on gunge/food. gnawing under the ‘cabin’ during the night which was very disturbing! Double bedroom not big enough to accommodate the size of the bed. Had to climb into the bed against the wall - not enough room for bedside tables. Advertised as 2 single beds but actually child size bunk beds 80 cm . Shower door didn’t close. The name advertised is not the name of this ‘unit’, which led to confusion in finding the place. We had to rely on the photo given. The advert says toiletries provided. This amounted to dregs in the bottom of the bottles. No hairdryer. Most of the above have been reported in previous reviews but owner has not addressed any of them. Unpleasant response to messages sent to the owner Ben.

Lovely little getaway
Quiet and great views

Logement fonctionnel. Nous avons apprécié le petit poêle à bois et la proximité de la gare.
Il n'y avait pas de serviettes de bain, ni de WIFI et le logement n'était pas facile à trouver.
