Lake view, Garden, Balcony in Gravedona - Larihome A61

The view is absolutely as amazing as the pictures, more so in fact, because you should see it at night with a full moon or for sunrise. The photos are very representative so you know what you’re getting! The location is very atmospheric - it’s a proper residential village, and a 16 min walk down to the town (and maybe a 30 min walk back, getting steeper and steeper!) but I loved the little alleys and pathways. The house is very spacious and I’ve never known a place have so much storage - the children loved exploring all the little secret cupboards. I found the mattress very comfy and the shower good, and children loved the jacuzzi bath. The outside space is amazing, both garden and spacious balconies, and the house and grounds felt very secure. I’d definitely recommend having a car for this location. We had never been to Lake Como before, and for anyone in the same situation, it’s worth noting that this bit of the lake, and the surrounding towns, are really nice - they’re chilled, not pretentious or overwhelmingly busy, have nice cafes and bars and have some spacious beaches where you can spend the day. Communication with the hosts was really good and we felt like they were always available! We were really comfortable here and thought it was excellent value for money.

A few more kitchen/cleaning things would be useful - e.g. a draining rack, kitchen cloth to wipe surfaces - but nothing you can’t work around. It could also do with a deeper clean as ceilings/cupboards have cobwebs and top shelves are dusty, and the water from the jets on the bathtub was not clean. You’ll also need to bring basics like salt/pepper, there are no stocks from previous guests etc.
