It’s a lovely accommodation, would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend.

I liked how close to town it was and also close to the family we were visiting. The property was lovely, nice and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

The only thing was the sofa wasn’t that comfortable but that’s only down to preference.

Octopus: Coastal Cool Opposite the Fish Shop, Steps from the Sea

In short: Octopus isn’t trying to impress you it just does. It’s stylish, well-judged, and as they say in Scotland "In tune" with its surroundings. A flat with personality, perspective, and polish. If you’re staying in Largs and want somewhere that feels both local and a little bit special, this is the one people will quietly recommend , and wish they’d found first.

Actually it is in the centre better than any hotel , I tried hard , but could not find a fault

Very good value for money, host was polite and friendly

We attended at wedding at the Brisbane house and it was a perfect location with only a 7minute walk. The apartment was very clean and it had everything we needed. The host was very friendly who contacted us prior with everything we needed to know. Very good value for money

There is nothing to dislike, blackout curtains in the bedroom would be the only the only change.

Little gem in Largs. Quiet and comfortable.

Fabulous location. Directly opposite train station. Short walk to ferry to Isle Of Cumbrae. Everything you needed for a few days. Would book again and recommend.

The curtains were light so didn’t darken the room enough at night! Good do with more light by back door after parking it was hard to see where you were going to the back door.

Too short. So much to see and do.

We loved the location. We honestly thought it would be noisy during the night but it was quiet. Anything and everything you just about wanted was only a short walk. Great people who were so friendly. It’s a loverly place.

Nothing really. The weather was not the best. Rained most of the time we were there. It can’t be helped but if you have heavy or lots of luggage, it’s a struggle to get up the Stairway. I suggest that there should be extra towels available.

Loved it and would definitely stay again, especially if the staircase issue could be resolved

Excellent location, awesome host, car park space was a bonus, very spacious and well equipped with facilities and kitchen appliances.

The mattress and pillows could do with replacing as a little bit lumpy. The stair case really needs a continuous handrail around the curved steps, we are a little unsteady on our feet at our age and the change of elevation combined with turning lead to a little dizziness.

Good location, good size and nicely furnished. Having parking space is handy. Easy check-in/check-out process. Owner very helpful and responsive.

Shame that there’s a bit of a musty/damp smell and carpets are quite stained. The clothes dryer had dirt/dust on it from area where it is stored. A cheese grater would be handy!

The entrance was not attractive and could be improved. The stairway was rather steep especially for an older couple. The double bed was very cramped for an older couple.

Perfect, affordable and homely.

Easily accessible to all amenities, rail and road. Spotlessly clean with all mod cons provided. Even tea , coffee , milk sugar and bottles of still water. Bathroom toilet spotlessly clean . Great decor. Communication effortless and prompt ,polite and friendly.

For our short stay, absolutely perfect no dislikes at all.

Location was good central easy access for ferry and Largs front

Disappointed with initial impression the close door stairwell and apartment front door pretty grubby have a poor first impression Property was fine and we enjoyed our stay on the surface apartment clean but not fresh the bedding in the pull down couch did not seem fresh the bedding on the bedroom bed did smell fresh

Location was perfect in the town - facility wise everything we needed was there - was travelling with my son for sport and sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable - kitchen had all the usual fridge / washing machine etc

The entrance to the first floor flat, the steps are a bit difficult if you are the older generation especially if you are lugging your cases up there, The bedroom could do with black out blinds or curtains.
