Villa Ani apartment Coral

Apartment is lovely and the patio has an amazing view of old town & fortress. The location was excellent for the old town, port & good mixture of restaurants & shops just at bottom of hill. Excellent shower and everything you could need in the small kitchen facility. Lots of little extras left out which was nice, and they supplied us with beach towels for our boat trip. The wee cat Didi was a cute addition while admiring the view from the patio.

The only small niggle I had was the bed was like 2 mattresses joining together which I found a. bit uncomfortable, but certainly wouldn’t put me off staying there again.

The location was incredible, amazing views.

Be prepared for steps when travelling to Dubrovnik!

Lovely apartment in an elevated position with views over Fort Lawrence and strolling distance to old town, but also far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle. The property had a courtyard with tremendous views.Nicely decorated with a comfortable bed with excellent blackout windows and no noise. Host was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, a truly wonderful place to stay.

Not that it worried us at all, but be aware that you will need to ascend 72 stairs to reach the property, so if you have heavy luggage, you may want to consider arranging a local porter service, which was also suggested by the host. The stair climbing is more than worth it for the location and views.

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend it! The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the terrace was absolutely gorgeous—one of our favorite parts of the stay. The host was incredibly accommodating, provided great local recommendations, and was always helpful. We also appreciated having an iron and ironing board available when we needed them. One thing to keep in mind is that there are about 72 stairs to reach the property, so it’s best suited for guests who are comfortable with a bit of a climb. That’s very common in Dubrovnik’s Old Town and was worth it for the location and views. The only other consideration is the price. After talking with several other travelers staying in Dubrovnik, we found that our accommodation was noticeably more expensive than many comparable places they had booked. While we truly enjoyed our stay, we do think the pricing is on the higher end for what is offered. Overall, we had an incredible experience and would happily stay here again!

A couple of small suggestions that would make an already great stay even better: we had some issues with the TV, as it wouldn’t stay connected to the cable and the picture kept cutting in and out. It would also be nice to have paper towels or tissues available, as well as an extra bath towel per person for longer stays. The towel hooks in the bathroom also kept falling off, so permanently mounting them would be a nice improvement.
