Villa Bianca, Terre Marine

Vi är riktigt nöjda med villan, den är stor med stora rum, man bor bekvämt 7 personer fördelat på 4 sovrum, varav 2 med dubbelsäng. Tre badrum, ett på varje våningsplan. Gott skick, välutrustad, generöst med extra sängkläder och handdukar. Superfin utsikt och flera uteplatser. AC fungerade suveränt trots 30-35 grader ute. Poolen är inte jättestor, men räcker fint, ligger i skuggan på kvällen -men bara skönt när det är riktigt varmt. Det finns en stig/gränd med trappor rakt ner till byn från villan. Den använde vi flera gånger per dag. Därifrån är det nära till mataffär och bageri (Pennys, Plus), pizzeria och kvarterskrog. Busshållplats finns precis vid änden av gränden, det är 4 hållplatser till järnvägsstation och centrum/gågata. Smidigt! Men man bär definitivt inte resväskor uppför den stigen, man behöver bil/taxi när man anländer/avreser. La Spezia funkar fint för utflykter till Cinque Terre och det finns riktigt bra tågförbindelser.

Utmanande bilväg till villan, man behöver vara van bilförare och inte ha svindel. Om man inte är så rörlig kan det vara en utmaning med många trappsteg.

Villa superbe, conforme au descriptif. Très belle vue sur la ville et une partie du golfe. Petit sentier privatif pour descendre en ville.

Il manque une bouilloire électrique pour le thé et il faudrait une machine à café pour une villa d'une telle capacité. il y avait simplement une microscopique cafetière italienne pour 2 tasses de café. Quelques casseroles en plus serait apprécié.

Beautiful home with a beautiful view

The pool is much smaller than the pictures make it seem. We had a hard time using it as it was surrounded by wasps and you couldn't really enjoy the space unless you were hiding from them in the water. They came out to spray, but they just came back a day later. The space is laid out oddly, The entire second floor has two pieces of furniture, not really arranged in a way that allows for hanging out, so was a bit of wasted space, which was a shame as that is where the good view is from. There was a lot to memorize at checkin - would have been nice to have a book with more instructions in it on how things work. The description says that the bus is a 10 minute walk, but it is up and down a very steep hill, so we had to drive to town to find parking to get to the tourist areas vs. take the bus as planned. Could not do the hill with heat and kids.
