8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
The castle was a perfect location to host a family party, with lots of space for everyone to gather as well as to have quiet time. It was generally well equipped. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. The check-in process was very straightforward.
The floors were not as clean as we would have liked - some of the carpets were quite badly stained, and the kitchen floor wasn't very clean (as evidenced by my white socks turning brown as I walked around in them!). No t-towels were provided (likely an oversight as there were lots of towels).

Exclusivity, privacy of property for a milestone birthday celebration. Very clean, wonderful facilities, rooms very spacious. Property had character and history. Esther was lovely to deal with.

We had the most fantastic family weekend in Skryne Castle. The castle is just magical. Everything you could possibly need is there and the owner was so attentive and helpful with any queries we had both before and during our stay.
Everything was beyond perfect
