We had such a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this place! The guest house was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and incredibly peaceful. During our stay, it felt like we were almost the only guests, which made it the perfect relaxing getaway for us as a couple. We practically had the terrace and the shared kitchen to ourselves, which was a lovely bonus. The hosts were fantastic. They always replied very quickly to our messages and were always happy to help with anything we needed, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Rivazzurra Beach is about a 10 to 15 minute walk away. The walk is mostly along roads and includes a few stairs, but it’s definitely worth it. On the way, you’ll pass Todis, which has a great bakery where you can buy delicious pizza, fresh pastries, fruit, and other snacks to take to the beach. We loved spending our days at Rivazzurra Beach. From there, you can also walk towards Grotte di Nerone, although it was unfortunately closed during our visit. If you walk in the opposite direction, towards the train station, you’ll reach the town centre with plenty of fantastic restaurants. Our favourites were O’Pagnottiello for the best pizza, Cacio e Peppe Spaghetteria for an amazing Carbonara, and Ristorante Capo d’Anzio for their incredible lemon risotto with prawns. One tip for future guests: if you want to explore Anzio and the surrounding area, we would definitely recommend renting a scooter. It makes getting around much easier and saves a lot of walking, especially during the warmer months. The room itself was beautiful and exceptionally clean. If I could suggest a few small improvements, I would add a full length mirror, a cup or holder for toothbrushes in the bathroom, and a small shelf in the shower for toiletries. These are only tiny details because everything else was absolutely perfect. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would happily come back again. Thank you for such a lovely experience!
