Spectacular view from the bedroom. Comfortable bed and good room size. Lovely shower in shared bathroom. Able to use the fridge (and rest of kitchen though I only used the kettle and fridge!) Friendly couple, keen to accommodate guests and ensure that you're comfortable.
The dogs bark for any visitor and when let out of their enclosed space crowd round, jump up and lick. They are quiet over night though and often contained with a gate over the living area in the day. Understandably some dog hair around though you can tell they work hard to hoover frequently.

The host was charming and we had a good chat over a very nice cup of coffee shortly before I was on my way.
I was only staying for a night and it suited my purposes perfectly but for a longer stay I’d want to be more central.

Lovely room in itself, lovely view. Comfy bed.
We knew about the dogs and they were very well behaved but we wouldn't go back as the doggy aroma was strong (probably because of the heat). Also a door kept banging during the night and we couldn't work out what was going on. The hosts gave us free reign of the kitchen etc but we didn't feel comfortable. That's just us, though.
