Casa Adele

We had an amazing time at Casa Adele. Peppe is very kind, super friendly and helpful. He met us when we arrived at the property and didn't mind that we were late. He had even made us some plum cake and provided a bottle of vino rosso which we drank even though it was nearly 1am :-). He speaks excellent English and was happy to answer our questions and provide restaurant recommendations throughout our stay. The apartment is large with lots of storage especially in the master bedroom. There was a washing machine, dishwasher and espresso machine. The balcony gets the hot sun in the morning and a refreshing breeze in the afternoon. It was very hot in Salerno so sitting on the end of the balcony overlooking the harbour drinking a beer in the cool breeze was heavenly. The apartment has mosquito screens on all the patio doors so we could keep them wide open which meant we barely used the air conditioning. Salerno is not as touristy as other areas of the Amalfi coast so is quieter and cheaper but it still has lots of excellent restaurants and every church was beautiful. The train stations connects to Napoli, Pompeii, Caserta and even Roma. The port provides boat tours to Positano and Capri. The location of the apartment is ideal for people with a car as the apartment has it's own secure garage with automatic gates and it was very easy to get to from the main road into Salerno without having to drive through the town centre. We wanted an apartment outside the town centre because we wanted to be able to easily drive and we wanted peace and quiet in the evening but it is worth noting that it is a 30 minute walk to the centre of town from the apartment. The road is quite steep and doesn't have a pavement but there isn't much traffic on it. We didn't mind this too much and there is a bus service if needed.

Apartamentul este spatios , cu o terasa mare si racoroasa, cu vedere laterala spre mare. Imobilul este situat intr-o zona linistita si are un garaj subteran, foarte convenabil si sigur. Paturile sunt confortabile, iar bucataria bine utilata. Locuinta este frumos amenajata si relaxanta. Check-in-ul este usor si internetul foarte rapid. Gazda, Giuseppe, este foarte amabil si interesat de confortul nostru. Ne-a asteptat cu o prajtura facuta de sotia sa, careia ii mulltumim mult. De asemenea, ne-a oferit o sticla cu vin si alte bunatati, precum si fructe din gradina sa, cirese si agude, foarte bune. Apartamentul merita zece cu plus si il recomandam, pentru un sejur relaxant pe coasta amalfitana.
