Everything I needed - Clean, cosy and secure.

Our room was under the stairs and the noise from guests walking up and down from 7am onwards was disturbing.

We enjoyed a truly exceptional two-night stay and couldn’t fault a single thing. The accommodation was immaculately clean, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The whirlpool pool bath was an absolute standout and added a real sense of luxury to our stay — the perfect way to unwind and fully relax. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the peaceful atmosphere ensured a wonderful night’s sleep on both evenings. The location was ideal, offering both convenience and tranquillity, and the host's were warm, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. Every detail had clearly been considered to create an exceptional guest experience. Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations in every way. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend this property to anyone seeking comfort, quality, and a touch of luxury.

There wasn’t anything not to like. We personally do not like instant coffee but that’s just us. Because of the time of year, it was difficult to find anywhere open to get a coffee so a coffee machine would make the stay even more perfect.

Loved the room

The styling of the room was excellent, modern stylish with a mix of old stable. All the towels, equipment and fittings were high standard, very clean.

The only think that let it down was the bed was not comfy. It was so soft it wanted to roll me out the side. Also when other people are talking in the other rooms you can hear them. This was evident at 06:00 this morning when one of the rooms were chatting and it woke us up.

Perfect little getaway

The cosiness, cleanliness. Easy parking. Very very sweet! Quaint little village, really lovely little get away. Easy to drive to more restaurants or shops if needed.

The only small minor thing was the occupants above was very heavy footed and quite a few loud bangs/noises particularly early morning was a little awakening on our last day.

Beautiful building at the heart of a quintessential, English Village. Exceptionally clean. No contact from hosts which suited us. The room had everything we needed and more. Would highly recommend
