At first I was a little sceptical after reading some of the negative reviews, but when I got there and checked everything out, I knew I found a gem! Nearly everything about the space is excellent: access to the beach, the location close to the station, the bathroom, the kitchenette and utensils, the size of the room, the balcony, the cleanliness, the equipment (maybe a bit old but well-kept) and mostly the people in the facility and the staff. They were very helpful and very kind taking everything I raised to them seriously. The neighbours who were staying in the property as well were very friendly. This is going to be my go to place every time I stay in Travemünde.
A new mattress, pillows and bed linen would lift the value of this property for sure. The ones offered to us were clean and sufficient for a couple of nights stay, but this place would be almost perfect if it had new ones.
