Le Grand Blue Villa

EVERYTHING! The location, the views, the many outside areas to relax in, the comfy beds and fluffy towels, Dila and Tony who looked after us! We’ve had a wonderful stay. If you like bland hotel chains, this place isn’t for you. If you love to wake up to see boats bobbing on the sea and love watching the world go by in lovely, peaceful surroundings, this is definitely for you. We slept like babies every night and woke up to blue skies and the sound of the sea. The villa is also just a short walk away from some lovely restaurants and the Red Beach.

NOTHING! The addition of a microwave would be a bonus, but this is merely a suggestion, not a criticism.

Le cadre est magnifique ainsi que les aménagements. Idéal pour ceux qui cherchent un grand repos ou une coupure. Je pense que l’on peut rester sans rien faire de la journée simplement contempler : un mélange de sauvage et de douceur qui nous donne l’impression d’être éternelle.

Le lieu

It was very well equipped and a beautiful location. Tony our host was excellent, welcoming, responsive and extremely helpful. We were provided with a fully fridge of food for breakfast and lunch, enough for the week! He also facilitated our extended stay and late check out. The property was in a beautiful location, which was quiet and relaxing, just as we wanted. There were restaurants nearby as was red beach.We had a car to get around to other parts of the island, which we would recommend, another the hourly local bus does go to Fira.

We had an amazing stay in this villa! Everything about our stay was perfect starting with early checking and also late checkout, which was courtesy of our property manager and made our stay so much easier and more pleasant! Facilities include everything you may ever need, I even managed to do my workouts with pair of yoga mats and a beautiful stone that is lying near the outside table :) Everything is also very accessible: from great restaurants to supermarkets and boat facilities!
