Casa Destino

We are a couple who enjoys the home from home feel so arriving at casa destino you couldn't ask for more...Nice touch with a beer in fridge and water for a cup of tea as arrived later on, cupboard stocked with tea bags, coffee and plenty of condiments. You honestly wouldn't believe how well stocked it is, bin bags, tin foil, washing up liquid...everything you'd have at home. Toilet/shower was well stocked with all you needed for a shower etc, even though we brought our own it wanted for nothing. Access to the beach is a 40 second walk down the path which is ideal for us as we are beachgoers.

As we normally tend to visit during the winter months we don't really experience the need for air-con. Due to visiting August and the heat the big ceiling fan doesnt quite cut it.

Todo en general. Muy cercano a la playa y a todas las tiendas. Ubicación de 10. Muy fácil el trato con el dueño y buena relación clidad-precio.

Por poner dos pegas pequeñas. Un poco de calor durante el día y falta un pequeño microhondas

IF you want to be central yet quiet then this is the place for you. It is very private. No views but the beach is 1 minute away. We loved the front terrace and spend many an afternoon reading in peace. The little house is so cozy. It has everything you could possibly need on a holiday. Kitchen extremely well equipped The cutlery drawers had everything including a milk frother. The cupboards had condiments and herbs so if you wanted to cook you neednt have to spend on buying those items which can make eating in more expensive. Lots of towels and beach towels provided and a nice washing machine. Bed king size and very comfy. We didnt watch any television so cant comment on what was available. Wifi was good. Sparkling clean. Would return.

Fantastic location for us in town, 2 minute walk to beach, 2 minute walk to town, 2 min walk to supermarket. 10 min walk to old town, 20 minute walk to harbour. Lock box made it really easy for us to come and go separately and never to lose the keys. Bars and Cafes everywhere. So much choice. The stone/dirt road outside the property is pedestrian only, This is ideal to reduce noise and traffic.There is a dirt road at the back of the property for access to properties on that side- do not rely on parking here- it is narrow and parking limited. It was a lovely quiet property for the great location- yes there can be some noise, but not obtrusive and expected being so close to everything. There is a fan in the bedroom and this is needed. There are lockable security bars, which means the door can be left open at night. There are mosquitos- please take repellent- we did not think this would be needed. ( April). There are screens on all the windows and door, but we kept forgetting to close the one on the door. For short holidays you do not really need a hire car. There are plenty of taxis at the airport more reasonable than prebooked transfers. As parking is not necessarily easy in close proximity. The kitchen is small, but has everything needed as well as a few essentials in the cupboard like spices, tea, coffee etc. The bathroom also has essentials and a hairdryer which is a bonus. Maybe take a bluetooth speaker, but the TV has Amazon Prime music, so we were fine. The verandah is fabulous with an outside tap and space to hang towels, wetsuites, clothes etc.

A Microwave might have been a bonus, but to be fair, you only need snacks and breakfast and quick lunches as you eat out most the time. More pillows on the bed-(only 1 each provided)- there are plenty of cushions though.
