Eclectic Hilltop House - Panoramic Views of the South Downs

A lovely spacious house with a lot of character and some really interesting music- related artworks and items. The setting was very beautiful- peaceful and surrounded by lush greenery with a lovely garden.

It didn’t bother us but it’s worth noting the location is quite isolated and a car is needed to go anywhere. This of course adds to its peacefulness though!

Amazing house, very comfortably would sleep up to 10 people. The downstairs bedroom has four singles, but 3 beds feel like they have their own space as it is a t-shaped room. All of the bedrooms are very spacious. It was very sunny on the balcony throughout most of the day. The living room was big enough for nine of us to sit comfortably and play games. The kitchen has all the supplies you will need to cook breakfasts and dinners. There are 3 bathrooms, one on each floor. Plenty of parking. It is a 40-minute walk to the local pub through the forest. We all had a lovely stay.

Sound travels directly to the bedroom above the living room, so I recommend whoever sleeps in that one. Is the pair most likely to stay up latest.

There was plenty of space available, the views were lovely and the house is well maintained. There were also amenities available that we enjoyed (BBQ)

Thoroughly clean throughout and the living room allowed us to sit together comfortably.

It was very cold on arrival and our beds were unaired and felt damp. We sat with our coats on until it had warmed up. Then we found that the main bedroom upstairs had no heating - I went to bed with a woolly hat on! This was very disappointing as the house was lovely but not a warm welcome it could if given us.
