Priory park view

Our four-week stay at Priory Park was enjoyable. The location is excellent. The park across the street, with children playing, is a relaxing sight. The accommodation is comfortable. The bed is good, and the sheets and towels are high quality. Nights are peaceful because the bedroom is at the back and very quiet, as is the entire neighborhood. Southend town center is a 20-minute walk away. Another 20 minutes takes you to the beach, which is ideal for us because we enjoy walking. If you don't want to walk, a bus stops very close by and takes you to the center in a few minutes and to the beach in 15 minutes. Prittlewell train station is a 10-minute walk away. The train to London takes 70 minutes. We went there four times in four weeks. The route between the center and the beach is packed with shops, restaurants, and bars for breakfast. There's also a Sainsbury's and an M&S to stock up on supplies. The bathroom is small but modern, with a shower that works very well. The people who live in the property are kind and friendly, and respect your privacy. Lots of light and no water problems. Wi-Fi is working well.

We were surprised that paying for four weeks didn't include weekly cleaning and linen changes, as it did in the same area last year. If you buy a week, cleaning and sheets are included. If you buy 4 weeks, you pay 4 times the price and should get 4 cleanings and 4 sheet changes. But this wasn't the case. It's best to negotiate in advance. The only real problem was the TV, which stops streaming both paid channels with your account and free ones almost every day, sometimes more than once a day. It's because the TV improperly holds the instructions that prevent streaming. Thanks to Netflix's advice, we learned that when this happens, you need to unplug the TV. Be careful: turning off the switch on the outlet isn't enough; you actually need to unplug it. After one minute—no less than a minute, otherwise it won't be enough—the TV resets and streaming resumes. It's annoying, but it solves the problem. I hope the landlord will decide to upgrade the smart TV.

Near clean place and great location with good view

May not be ideal for a longer stay as it doesn’t have a washing machine / dryer but perfectly served our purpose for a short stay

Spacious Safe Kind and hospitable host Had everything required Kid safe Had Extra stuff like toilet papers, soap etc Easy to operate hob and microwave. Good lighting. Parking was near enough. Good location-Next to a lovely park and only 8 minutes drive to the beach.

Was not clean to high standards. Couches had stain marks. Throws on the couches were dirty with visible dirt marks. Was dusty in some areas Telly could not connect. WiFi didn’t connect throughout the stay.
