Totally non private The helper as well as her family all live downstairs , with the staircase in the middle of the house without any door separating the top from the bottom... Nauseating smells of alcohol , Music from the TV as well as the conversation from downstairs all have to be endured by the occupants upstairs ... Private pool in the yard was out of order ... Bathrooms didn't have keys on the doors (not ideal with kids around) ... Braai area is right infront of the helpers house door with no privacy...

This property turned out to be the perfect choice for my needs and expectations. I hosted a birthday celebration with a large group, and the house was not only spacious enough to accommodate everyone comfortably but also well‑equipped with amenities that made the experience truly memorable. The host went above and beyond, ensuring the pool was ready in no time and even joining the celebration at our request, which added a personal touch and made it feel like one big team. The property itself offered a beautiful front view and a secure environment, allowing us to relax without worry. The kids had plenty of space to roam freely and even enjoyed spotting some local wildlife. Another highlight was the short walk to the nearby beach, which felt almost private and added to the charm of the stay. Overall, this was a wonderful experience that combined comfort, hospitality, and a unique setting.

As part of the estate’s security protocol, interactions at the gate can sometimes feel a bit inconvenient. The experience largely depends on the rules in place and the attitude of the guard on duty, which may vary. While this can occasionally set off mixed feelings, I view it as part of the estate’s procedures rather than a reflection of the property itself. As an avid traveller, I don’t weigh this heavily when assessing a stay, but it’s worth noting for guests who may not be familiar with such protocols.
