Nice in New Acton - 2bd 2bth Apt

Love the location. We used to live in the building so we knew what to expect. It’s a great apartment. The only downfall being that the cleaners obviously aren’t very good at their job. It’s as though it needs a once off deep clean just to make it sparkle again. I was worried after reading reviews about no top sheets. However they were just in the cupboards so we just had to put them on ourselves.

The beds were too soft for my liking, pillows also very cheap. But otherwise all good

The whole process from check-in to check out. If you want an early check in it is $30 an hour before 3pm. We did not get into the premises until 5pm due to misinformation. The address in booking.com did not coincide with the address of the apartment. We did not receive any email with how to access keys. The only information was to pick up keys from a specific address which was a 7 minute drive from the accommodation. There was no information that the keys were in a lock box wall. We did not get given the number of the lock box or the PIN.Luckily a cleaner for another complex assisted us to get the key. The host finally sent access details. However, the keys provided were different to the photos. Once inside the carpark there is no information that there are different lifts for different buildings within the carpark. The information guide inside the accommodation was incorrect. Wifi details were wrong. When checking out you have to drive the car outside as you need to use the remote to exit the carpark, then you have to go back into the apartment and leave the key and remote in the apartment. Late check out incurs $50 per 30 minutes. Our check-in was delayed 2 hours due to misinformation and for a maintenance person to access before our check-in. I travel a lot and this is the most convoluted and confusing check-in ever.

Spacious, comfortable and good kitchen and dining facilities. Beds very comfortable.

What breakfast, didn’t like location

Was pretty disgusted that there was no top sheets on beds. Luckily we found spare sheets and used them. The idea of using bedding (quilts) that other people used and not knowing if they were fresh or not was abhorrent to us. No instructions on how to use stove top and when I went to use vacuum it was full and I had to empty it before I could use it. Shower didn’t look as though it had been cleaned and still has used shampoo bottles in it.
