Location, location, location. Lovely area and able to walk everywhere. Loved the Basilica has a backdrop from our window.
The property was very old and didn’t have the modern comforts of a kettle, toaster or dishwasher! The master bedroom is a converted lounge room with no wardrobes but the view of the Basilica compensated for that!!

Brilliant location. Magnificent view of the Cathedral. Lovely restaurants below. Room was large and spacious and was authentically Italian - a lot of charm and history. :) Access with a lift - a bonus. Host was very kind and very helpful.
Washing machine was broken but host did our washing for us. Location is in the heart of Lecce (and really is unmatched) and this can be very noisy on weekends till early hours. Then cleaning trucks.. :). One main double bed is in big office, and not a bedroom with wardrobes etc - but it worked for us.
