Rusticana

Easy access (in and out whenever you want), good value for money.

Rooms didn't feel private, heard people yelling through the door connecting our rooms. Also, the kitchenette had nowhere to store or wash dirty dishes, so they kinda just piled up as we stayed

Oh, I love the availability of mirrors, I mean I love looking at myself, and the bedside lamp because I don't like too much light but prefer a little light at night.

The bed felt too big for the space cause you'd keep on bumming into the bed corners.

"Rusticana" is an apt name – in my opinion, for all the right reasons. If the idea of reclining under a slightly weather-worn umbrella, surrounded by a motley crew of sleepy old dogs, sounds like your kind of relaxation, then this is the place for you. I felt at home and comfortable pretty much immediately. All the staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely hospitable. The room was private and very comfortable, and remained surprisingly cool even without air conditioning or a ceiling fan. I also felt extremely safe and secure throughout my stay – largely thanks to the sense that we were all sharing a real home with a real family. Housekeeping was generous and thoughtful – bedding was refreshed without even asking, and essentials like coffee, toilet rolls, and filtered water were always topped up proactively. A lovely, calm stay with real character.

The only small downsides were that the shower wasn’t great – at least, the water pressure seemed a bit off at the time of my stay – and the wifi could be slightly temperamental, working perfectly in some spots but less so in others. That said, neither issue was serious or long-lasting enough to warrant a complaint (which I'm certain would've been addressed immediately) and they didn’t take away from an otherwise very comfortable stay.
