Upside down house, maximising the lovely view. Layout.
Extra furnishings, made it feel like a home, not a holiday let.
Neighbour not the friendliest.
Pillows, did not find them comfortable.

The fact that the house was arranged 'upside down', ie with bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor and the living space on the first floor, meant that we had outstandingly beautiful views of the Fal Estuary and beyond. Wonderful.

Lovely communal space with beautiful views of the sea and Cornish countryside. Brilliant location with quick access into St Mawes (6 mins by car) and great value for money. Quiet street and ample parking on the close.
It could have been cleaner. There was dust on the surfaces, crumbs on the dining table, some of the plates were dirty, a few hairs in the main bed and some ants in the main bedroom. Also there were tea towels from previous guests (I assume) left in the washing machine. Little touches make a difference also, like washing up liquid and perhaps some milk in the fridge would have been appreciated.
