Chalé Henrique - Beachfront apartments at Calheta Beach

From a logistical point of view, the apartments are very conveniently located

The apartment description states that it's 50 square meters. In fact, we were on the second floor, and even taking into account the veranda, I'd say it's no more than 30 square meters. Our apartment didn't have a bedroom. The air conditioner was leaking. Parking is only available in a small alley, and only if you can negotiate with the ground floor residents.

We had a wonderful stay at Chalé Henrique. The apartment is modern, cozy, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Its location is excellent: the beach is just across the street, while a large supermarket, restaurants, shops, the marina and the promenade are all within a short walking distance. Esmeralda is an exceptional host. She is incredibly kind, caring and always responds almost immediately to any questions or requests. She gave us useful local information, made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay, and even brought additional supplies when we needed them. We were also pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful welcome gifts: water, beer, coffee, tea, local sweets and fresh fruit. It was such a warm and generous gesture after a long journey. Check-in was easy, communication was excellent, and we felt at home from the very first moment. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Madeira.
