"The vacation home 'Calheta Beach House 1' is perfect for a relaxing vacation, in a privileged location in the center of the village of Calheta with the sea and Calheta beach 300 meters away. Nearby guests will also find the Mother Church, the 'Sugar Cane Mill' and the 'Casa das Mudas' Contemporary Art Center. Also nearby are some of Madeira Island's main 'Levadas'.
The 2-storey property consists of a living room with a sofa bed for 2 people, a fully equipped kitchen, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom (with shower) and can therefore accommodate 4 people. Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls) with a dedicated workspace for teleworking, a TV, heating, as well as a washing machine. A baby cot and high chair are also available.

Pros: Manuel, de eigenaar, was vriendelijk over de app en reageerde snel als we iets nodig hadden.
De tuin, de bank en de goed uitgeruste keuken bevielen erg goed. Het is een fijn, ruim huis voor 2.
Ook de ligging van het huis was fantastisch: op loopafstand van het strand en de supermarkt. In de buurt zit een gezellige rumbar (ook koffie, ontbijt etc), met leuke eigenaren. Het was fijn dat we de auto makkelijk voor de deur konden parkeren. Calhetta ligt aan de zonnige kant van het eiland, waardoor we regelmatig zon hadden als het elders bewolkt was.
Cons: Soms kwam er wat uitlaatgas van auto's naar binnen. Maar dat viel mee!
