We were in contact with the holiday company throughout, they provided details of how to access the Villa and who we could contact if required,. The local representative Carlos was available during our entire stay via Whatsapp and responded very quickly to our questions and needs. We had the pleasure of meeting Carlos, and like most of the people we meet in Portugal, he was very friendly and helpful. The Villa itself was spacious, well thought out with four modern first floor bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms and two further more traditionally styled bedrooms ground floor, one with an ensuite bathroom. Also another bathroom for general use. The sofas were comfortable, as were the beds, there was loads of storage all over the Villa. Each room had air conditioning, and beds had duvets not just sheets. The kitchen was well equipped, loads of plates including ones for outside. The pool - heated was great, you do need to pay an amount in cash for heating the water over the week, the BBQ, gardens and pool area were great. The games area was an added bonus. There were lots of towels for both indoor and outside, the washing machine meant we could wash the towels and our clothes during our stay and hanging them outside dried them quickly. The transport options are very good, there's buses running up the road, taxis arrive in minutes, we walked every day, down to the shops and to the beaches. Plenty of places to eat open at this time of year, We ate at the Clay Oven, Castello Di Norcia for memorable occasions, also down at the Marina and on the main road at the bottom of the hill for lunch and breakfast.

The Villa in places needs a little maintenance, but it didn't spoil our experience. The one neighbour is an elderly male, he doesn't seem to enjoy living next to a holiday home, he put up a sign whilst we were there. We respected the rules and only spent a couple of afternoons in the garden for any length of time.
