The mews house is a nice one storey building, with spacious kitchen/living room, 2 rooms on the first floor and one bathroom. So plenty of space also for 4 people. It is positioned in an apparently quiet narrow street very close to the Gloucester road tube, so it is very convenient.
Besides the persistent damp smell on the first floor, the key issue of this house if the proximity to the underground train tracks. Just to give an idea: the tracks are maximum 10 mts away and they run ongoing for about 18-20 hrs per day. When a train passes on the closest track, the bathroom door shakes a bit. The bedrooms are provided by two double gazed windows but the noise can be easily heard from inside. So be warned about it!
