Quiet location close to every thing

Pluses: good sized rooms, washing machine, location, bath in bathroom, large fridge, keyless entry, close to trams and restaurants

Minuses Room very dark,, no hot water by 930pm one night, no dining table, desk chair wobbly, one bed felt like it was going to collapse, checkin process by reception a bit odd. Reception in a room on 8th floor. City Suites inside Mantra on Little Bourke...had trouble finding the hotel itself. Cleaning and servicing hard to understand...had to go to reception during office hours to get toilet paper. Needed to book a service 2 days out.

Great location to central Melbourne and functional kitchen if you need to cook a meal

The apartment was nice but had a leak in the shower and the bed was two singles pushed together which for over $300AUD a night we expected better. However what really impacted our stay was the deposit. For some strange reason even though it showed on my credit card statement and I provided this to staff, they didn't accept it and we were told to let it clear for a day or two. Then I was emailed and they threatened to disable the door code the day I was running the Melbourne marathon if we didn't pay again which was quite stressful, so we did but had two charges for the deposit and poor customer service. The hotel lobby downstairs is lovely but for some odd reason they are operating their lobby out of one of the rooms.
