Villa Amêndoa

We were late after Claudia accomodated early check in. She din't say a word about it, and was so patient & polite. All of the other reviews that say kitchen is well stocked is a very very big understatement! The villa is fantastic, and so homely (but sooooo lovely and chic) I think maybe Claudia is an interior designer! What a fantastic place - so many thoughtful extrats, like kitchen roll, toilet paper, laundry detergent. All of these little things that (cost a lot to buy!) made a lovely additional touch to our stay. American fridge with ice machine & filtered cold water was another touch. Villa was spotless, as said in other reviews. I was nervous originally with my small kids, as pool is pretty deep and the blackout blinds don't quite black out the room - but, the pool was always warm so they were happy to dip in and out, and, the downstairs bedroom was pretty dark all the time! Fresh candles out for comfort, with matches supplied too. And don't get me started on the smell of the villa with difusers & the like. House envy!! I have gone onto Zara Home to try and replicate the smells haha. All AC is brilliant. Really large garden too & a football net with football left out for the kids! Location is good, but i would recommend a car. Loads of restaurants close by. Lidl only 10 mins away, and local supermarket (cheap) less than 5 min drive. I would recommend BOOKING local restaurants in advance, especially those on the beach! Brilliant stay, hope to come back again & many thanks to Claudia - worth every penny. Absolutely nothing! Villa was perfect, even down to the artificial grass being lovely & soft!!

We had an exceptional stay at this villa and would highly recommend it. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was outstanding. Claudia met us personally, gave us a warm welcome, and took the time to explain everything about the property, which made us feel at home straight away. The villa is extremely well equipped, particularly the kitchen, which had everything we could possibly need. The attention to detail throughout the property is excellent. The swimming pool was a real highlight. Being solar heated, it was pleasantly warm throughout our stay. The outdoor area is superb, with some of the most comfortable sun loungers we’ve ever used, and plenty of umbrellas providing welcome shade during the hottest part of the day. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. The villa also has three excellent bathrooms, all modern, well presented, and thoughtfully stocked with quality toiletries and plenty of towels. The location is ideal, with supermarkets just a few minutes’ drive away. We also found Uber to be readily available whenever we needed it, with drivers arriving very promptly. Overall, this is an exceptional villa that is maintained to a very high standard. Combined with Claudia’s excellent hospitality, it made for a wonderful holiday, and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

We were met and shown round the property by Claudia who was lovely. The villa was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and the kitchen was well-equipped. The swimming pool was very clean and warm - typically 29/30 degrees - bliss!

Honestly - there was nothing we didn’t like! It was fabulous.

Amazing location only a few kms from beach and on edge of amazing Vale De Lobo resort. Very stylish and comfy villa perfect for a girls trip. Great sun loungers. Super comfy.

Not much. It was great. We couldn’t get AC to work in living room but that could’ve been us.
