A beautiful apartment with a delightful sitting room containing comfortable sofas, a separate dining room, very well-equipped kitchen with a very welcome washing machine (bring your own detergent) and two good sized bedrooms. Reasonably priced.

Located a walk away from the centre on a busy road, although set back and not noisy. The main problem with this property is that the host is either highly untrusting or has been badly burned by reckless tenants. It was our only experience in France of being told that the deposit of 300 euros would not be reimbursed for an entirely excessive 30 days, or we had the option of paying 32.10 euros deposit waiver fee instead. This was not what was written on the booking.com form - which said that the deposit would be Eur 200 and this would be reimbursed on check-out subject to inspection. We were not given the check in codes until we had agreed to the deposit or paid the waiver fee. There was a hugely off-putting list of what we would have to pay for any damage itemising the price for every pillow case, towel, cup, glass etc (and all at inflated prices). We asked if we could arrive at 3pm instead of 4pm and were told there would be an extra charge for this (we waited in a bar instead). Very long and difficult codes required to get into the property. All of this was very officious and gave us a bad taste, which was a shame, as the property itself is delightful.
