3 Bedroom House Near Beach By Travel Lets Holiday Rentals Donegal With Private Garden

Beautifully appointed 3 bedroom house with private back garden in a wonderful location on Downings. From the first point of contact with the corner all was excellent very responsive to any questions. All the bedrooms were spacious and airy and very comfortable beds. There is an ensure large bathroom with shower Iupstairs and a bath with shower downstairs.

Nice bright airy property great location very good communication from the host really comfortable beds and large bedrooms Plenty of towels and deadly powerful shower Easy to heat the house, log burner is lovely but had to buy our own firewood etc

Few things could have been improved; Grass in the garden hadn’t been cut in a while Patio door is very hard to open & close and the front door is very hard to lock Kettle was unusable due to limescale buildup Curtains in the living area were constantly coming off the hooks

Amazing location right in Downings. Easy walk to restaurants and pubs. Spacious. Clean. Laundry facilities. It was a great set up for a group.

There were 2 things that are relatively minor. First, the TV was great, but we really couldn't access the live programming (e.g., world cup). That could have been a user error and we should have called to reach out and ask. The other is that it took a while to figure out how to lock the front door ... again, probably a user error. That said, a little book of instructions might be a good add. Wonderful property all around.

Location and beds

The house was cold on arrival and it took us until the next morning to figure out how to work the heating and all the radiators had been turned off. The house needs repairs and painting in places. For eg. awet patch on the living room ceiling and peeling paint in the ensuite up stairs. The house was average in terms of cleanliness. The bathrooms and kitchen were just ok and underneath the beds were dirty. Also, on the morning we were leaving there was a car with 2 women ( I assume cleaners) sitting watching us for an hour or more packing our stuff into our cars. We found this very off putting as if we were being watched. Whilist the location of the house was good and we had an enjoyable weekend, I wouldn't book this house again.
