Crooked Ear Cabin

Cabin was great. Mix of rustic and updated. Clean. Comfortable beds. The kids loved all the stuff to do in the basement. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. Location was quiet and liked there were community facilities that could be used. Owners were very responsive when we had an issue and sent someone to address it in a very timely manner.

Lower level had a little bit of a musty smell. Because of the nature of the mountain road if you bring a dog be prepared to walk some hills (and it’s pretty dark if you’re walking at night). (Although there aren’t sidewalks there is gravel along the side of the road at most spots so there is clear space to move off the road if a car comes by. The hot tub wasn’t working (not the owners fault…it is in the community center and needed repair)

This home has everything you could possibly need and they literally thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The basement has everything to entertain kids for days. We brought our dog and there is even a beautiful built in crate. There are 3 bedrooms and 21/2 baths. They even have a projection tv for the kids. Kitchen had everything you would need too. Had a great time. I think there are 4 TV’s too and 2 fireplaces. Very close to town and owners replied so quickly when we had one question . Our favorite restaurant was La Casita.

The property was beautiful and had lots of room and activities to keep everyone entertained and happy.

Water pressure could be better

Great location near the town, great hikes, and scenic. House equipped with everything you'd need to entertain a group with multiple televisions, movie theatre, gaming consoles, board games, shuffle-board, darts, and a great patio and firepit.

Instructions for how to use the fireplace was a little confusing, wood pile was exposed so some logs were wet.
