Pleasant apartment and close to centre

A couple of issues with the bathroom only partially resolved.

Lovely cosy centrally located studio in the heart of Cannes.

It is a studio so you should not expect the usual amenities like a washing machine.

The location was incredibly convenient, right in the heart of the center with some occasional street noise (people/cars) due to the small street in front. Upon arrival we received a guide from the host about check-in, accomodation, tips, ect. We also were able to ask questions via the chat. We were staying for 4 nights so it was convenient we had a Nespresso machine to use, stream our content from our phones to the large television, use the small fridge (no freezer) for our drinks and had good wifi connection. There was a supermarket around the corner so easy for shopping. The train station within 5 minutes walking. The main square with all restaurants, harbour within 5 minutes walking as well. The beach would be 10-15 minute walk in our experience. In general we had a great stay!

The bathroom was quite narrow so missing a bit of space to properly move and place personal items. There was an interesting smell lingering through the room which was usually noticable when entering the room but after a few minutes not very noticable. The room looks a bit more spacious on the photos due to the large mirrors against the wall.

Pretty much perfect spot between the rail station and the main attractions. Supermarket is right behind the corner. A minute walk to the main street, 3 minutes to the Festival theater, 5-10 minutes walk to where people party and same to the beach - you will be able to focus on having a good time instead of thinking what to eat and where to go. If you came to have a good time around the city, go for it, perfect positioning to get anywhere fast. The room is actually dark, not as bright as in description. Not a good or bad thing, just different.

- It will get LOUD. At some point we thought that every person and car in the city go past the windows. We had to sleep with windows closed, which was very uncomfortable, despite the air conditioner. Might be OK with some! - We had to keep the blinders shut so people from building in front of us don't stare at us. We didn't enjoy watching them either. A little privacy please! - Once you take a shower, the room becomes a wet slippery mess. Don't know why. I wish this was mitigated by extra rugs in the shower room or something. This one was an actual problem.
