Excellent location with busy supermarket right next door for casual purchases. Double glazed balcony sliding door that almost completely eliminated the raucous racket that Cannes inevitably lives with. Excellent quiet aircon. Good balcony with extensive views - but can't look straight down on the street below. (The original impressive building had about 4 floors added at some stage and this prevented that particular downward view from the 4th floor where the apt is located.) Well presented kitchen area, not that we cook on holidays, so can't comment on equipment although we did use the microwave. Restaurants everywhere, apt is very close to Le Caveau, our favorite - worth a visit just to appreciate the internal art nouveau decor.

These are not dislikes - only comments that may assist. The elevators service "half floors" so that you need to walk 8 steps from/to the elevator, no probs if you're young. Shower over bath - certainly not our preference with advancing years but the apt position outweighed that. We decided on having the beds made as 2 singles just to provide a little more sleeping flexibility. Balcony chairs are like adjustable bar stools which we found a little hard to get into (there's "age" again). As long term travellers we appreciated the use of the washing machine. You can find a manual online but by the time I found it my wife had already worked out how to use it - comes from experience! We didn't use the drying feature preferring to take the spun clothes to a laverie, about 100meters up George Clemenceau, it's been there for years. Entry to the apt was a bit of a problem as my mobile access would not work outside the apt front door so I couldn't contact the person to let us in. Very helpful pizza guy next door rang him for me; we found their pizzas delicious.

Wonderful location? Great view of Cannes, and the port. Very clean and with everything you need for an enjoyable stay x

The double bed is made of 2 singles pushed together- inevitably one person sleeps in the gap 😉
