Nice choice for a short stay near Innbruck

Big comfortable bed. Great view over the valley. Good continental breakfast. Quiet residential area.

I definitely recommend this place for staying.

We stayed at Sonnenheim for one night during our visit to Innsbruck. It took 25 minutes to go to Thaur by bus and 15-20 minutes by feet. The Thaur is very beautiful and clean town, so we enjoyed our walk. Willy and Paula were very attentive to us and Willy proposed to drive us to the restaurant for the dinner as we were without a car and it was late. The dinner was excellent at the restaurant. Thanks Willy a lot for that. The room was with a balcony with wonderful view to the town and mountains. It was warm and comfortable in the room. Apples and cookies were served at the table. There is a small fridge also. We enjoyed the breakfast at the morning, beautiful sights and a talk with Willy. Thank you very much! Tanya and Denis

Perfect :)

The house was fantastic. The location was wonderful, just below the wanderweg and the castle ruins. The gardens were stunning, the breakfast was delicious. The hosts were gracious and welcoming. Nothing could have been better!!!

Gastehaus was very cozy and clean, very well kept bedrooms and shared areas with a great breakfast. The hosts were so lovely too, very accommodating and informative

Quiet stay in Thaur

Quaint wee place in a quiet location not too far from Innsbruck. Owners were lovely

Making payment was a bit confusing from the get go and when we came to pay when leaving we discovered we had to pay in cash, which meant a trip down the road to a cashpoint. Bit of a pain but not the end of the world.

L' accoglienza rimane un' eccellenza italiana

Molto luminosa la veranda dove abbiamo fatto colazione. Adornata con piante di ogni tipo sembrava di fare colazione in una serra. Suggestiva la vista dal terrazzino della camera.

Assolutamente indegno il bagno. Il water era un wc con trituratore, impossiile utilizzarlo la notte o all' alba senza svegliare il compagno di stanza! Tende e quadretti vecchi e obsoleti, fiori finti pieni di polvere e divano in pelle con schienale e seduta senza copertura per cui con un telo bianco appoggiato soora. Quando siamo arrivati non trovavano la nostra prenotazione, sembravano improvvisati. Poi la Signora ci ha accompagnato.in camera con uno spruzzino di disinfettante e, precedendoci, ha spruzzato, in nostra presenza, sul divano e in bagno !!! Mai successa una cosa del genere. Per quanto riguarda la colazione il caffe' , per quanto siamo abituati a caffe' molto lungo servito in caraffa, questo e' stato il peggiore della nostra vita....acqua sporca !!! Il latte freddo, le uova alla coque erano sode , senza parlare della scarsissima offerta di cibo senza neanche etichette con la descrizione !!! 105 Euro per una notte sono, a nostro parere , assolutamente INGIUSTIFICATI!!!

Ottimo posto per passare qualche giorno

La struttura è nella parte esterna del paese in una zona con molto verde attorno. È molto accogliente, sia nelle parti comuni (sala colazione) che nelle camere. Dalla finestra delle camere c’è una splendida vista sulle Alpi (e sul giardino dell’hotel). Il personale dell’hotel è molto gentile e cordiale. Sono stati loro a dirmi di utilizzare i mezzi pubblici con un biglietto giornaliero omaggio che mi hanno fornito loro anziché usare la mia auto. Davvero tutto impeccabile.

So che è una cosa rara sé non nel sud Europa ma mi sarebbe piaciuto avere il check-out alle 11:00

Le lit est très confortable. La famille d'hôtes est très accueillante même s'ils parlent peu anglais. Le petit-déjeuner est correct et varié.

Une bouilloire dans la chambre aurait été appréciée et il faudrait ajouter des crochets pour les serviettes dans la salle de bain.

Tranquilidad y Comodidad

Personal atento y encantador a pesar de que nos costaba comunicarnos con ellos. Nos indicó que había fiestas en el pueblo y lo agradecidos porque lo pasamos muy bien. El desayuno es muy bueno, sobre todo el apfelstrudel que sirven, está buenísimo. Las camas son realmente cómodas, hemos descansado muy bien.

Schöne Unterkunft, sehr gepflegt und sehr nette Gastgeber!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und das Doppelzimmer mit Bergblick hat uns gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war super. Besonders die Angebote aus der eigenen Herstellung, wie Butter und Apfelsaft waren sehr lecker. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Auch der Ausblick vom Balkon war toll. Die Lage für Ausflüge ist ideal. So konnten wir mit dem Bus nach Innsbruck fahren und hatten durch die Gästekarte eine kostenfreie Fahrt. Noch einmal ein herzliches Dankeschön an die sehr aufmerksamen und freundlichen Gastgeber!

Die Unterkunft betreffend, gibt es keine Anstriche! Will man aber zu Fuß unterwegs sein, z.B. zur Bushaltestelle, muss man den steilen Berg zur Unterkunft bewältigen, was einige Kondition benötigt.

Liebevolle Gastgeber und schöne Lage

Meine Tochter brauchte ein Zimmer für eine Nacht, wegen einer Prüfung in Hall am nächsten Tag. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und sorgten sich gut und liebevoll. Am Vorabend konnte sie noch schön spazieren und die Nerven etwas beruhigen. DANKE!!! Die Prüfung wurde bestanden 😀.

Fijn hotel dichtbij Innsbruck. De gastheer van het hotel spreekt geen engels maar met gebrekkig duits kom je wel door de check in heen. De kamers zijn schoon en ruim genoeg, wel wat gedateerd. Het ontbijt is prima.

Schönes helles Zimmer mit kleinem Badezimmer. Sehr freundlicher Empfang mit einer Tasse Kaffee. Das Frühstück war sehr gut angerichtet und es war alles frisch, besonders die selbstgemachte Butter.

Die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber. Schon der Empfang war mit dem Angebot eines Kaffees nach der langen Fahrt eine Wohltat. Auch im Fall eines mehrtägigen Aufenthaltes hätte es ausreichend Programm Empfehlungen gegeben.
