The unit had everything we needed for our stay. A fully stocked kitchenette made things so easy with the kids, and the location, right next to Ft. DeRussey and the Hale Koa, was perfect. Having snorkeling equipment already in the condo, along with kids water shoes and toys, was such a relief! We didn't have to worry about buying those while we were there. Fairly easy access to beach, just across a park and past a couple hotels, but we spent most of the time at the pool. Pool is a bit small but location and view were fantastic. In the heart of Waikiki, walking distance to Ala Moana, and tons of other shops. People watching is great, too, plus there's a food truck court just across the street, and so many fantastic restaurants it's impossible to go hungry. The hotel backs right up to green space, which is also a plus. We parked at the Ft. DeRussey parking garage because it was less expensive to do that for our week-long stay than to use the hotel valet parking option.

I wish other units didn't allow smoking on balconies. It was really hard to enjoy the balcony when people below us were smoking.

The location was great. Close to the beach, within walking distance to restaurants and shopping center.

Would have liked it if they had more outdoor grills to use.
